A beachfront apartment with spectacular views called for an interior of the same calibre. Yellowfox designer Vikki Gorton teamed up with Lisa Marcellus from The Furnishing Room to create a glam and luxurious interior with rich fabrics such as velvets, silks and linens to soften the stone floors and oak accents whilst harmonising with the client’s antique furniture.

Vikki designed a palatial master ensuite with its own freestanding bath and a vanity including a makeup station, which was placed next to move-able shutters to capture the sea view whilst in the ensuite. Sparkling wallpaper and light fittings enhance the opulent feel of the suite, and are complimented by a heavily embossed bedroom wallpaper, an oversized headboard and lavish bedding.

The guest powder room has the same feeling of glam by again utilising decorative wallpaper from Aspiring walls, textured tiles from the Tile Warehouse, and pendant lights. The bathroom joinery was all custom-made with Silestone benchtops and Robertson hardware. The hero of the apartment’s interior, has got to be the natural stone wall feature, and American Oak sliding TV cabinetry, accented with LED light, and accessorised with a stainless-surround fire from Rinnai.
